For the school to be granted candidacy status by the NPSA—this completed application must be
accompanied by the following:
1. A check (in U.S. funds) payable to NPSA for the applicable amount: Application fee: $250.00,
Candidate for Accreditation annual fee $485.00 plus a one-time fee of $195.00, Provisional Accreditation
annual fee $485.00 plus a one-time fee of $350.00, Full Accreditation annual fee $525.00 plus one-time
fee of $350.00 plus a re-evaluation fee every three years $350.00. Every five years a site visit is
mandatory. Schools being evaluated must pay expenses for the Site Visit Committee:
transportation, meals, and lodging.
2. A copy of the resolution appearing in the school board minutes that approves of the school’s seeking
accreditation with the National Private School Association.
3. If this is a joint accreditation, a copy of any correspondence relating to accreditation with the other
accrediting agency or agencies with which you are seeking accreditation (This gives NPSA
documentation to use in order to enter into discussion with the other agency or agencies involved.)

The following NPSA fees and expenses are required to participate in the accreditation program.
